SLAAS Annual Sessions
The 53rd Annual Sessions of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of
Science (SLAAS) are held in the University of Ruhuna, Matara from December
8-12, 1997. The theme of this year's sessions is Meaningful
Development. Scientists from all over the island and distiguished
guests from foreign countries will participate in this year's sessions.
In addition to the technical sessions, there will be a host of other
