Morning Session and Afternoon Session


Morning Session

18th November, 2000 at 8.45 a.m.

7.30 -8.00 a.m. Invitees take their seats.
7.30 -8.00 a.m. Graduands will assemble near the Library building in numerical order.
7.30 -8.00 a.m. Staff Procession will assemble in the Administration building.
8.05 a.m. Chancellor will arrive.
8.10 a.m. Graduants' Procession will start and move towards the Gymnasium.
8.20 a.m. Staff Procession will start and move towards the Gymnasium.
8.25 a.m. Chancellor's Procession will start.
8.35 a.m. Chancellor's Procession will enter the Gymnasium.

The Congregation will stand and remain standing until the Chancellor is seated.

Magul Bera.

Upon the arrival of the Chancellor on the stage the National Anthem will be played.

At the end of National Anthem the Chancellor will take his seat.

The congregation will take seats.

8.45 a.m. The Chancellor opens the Convocation for the Conferment of Degrees.

Afternoon Session


17th & 18th November, 2000 at 2.30 p.m.

1.15 -1.45 p.m. Invitees take their seats
1.15 -1.45 p.m. Graduands will assemble near the Library building in numerical order
1.15 -1.45 p.m. Staff Procession will assemble in the Administration building
1.50 p.m. Chancellor will arrive
1.55 p.m. Graduants' Procession will start and move towards the Gymnasium
2.05 p.m. Staff Procession will start and move towards the Gymnasium
2.10 p.m. Chancellor's Procession will start
2.20 p.m. Chancellor's Procession will enter the Gymnasium

The Congregation will stand and remain standing until the Chancellor is seated
