CALL FOR PAPERS
First Science Symposium-2002

 Deadline to submit papers: Aug. 31st, 2002

  The organizing committee of the First Science Symposium is requesting from staff members of the faculty of science, university of Ruhuna, to submit research papers for the symposium. Research papers, those containing the unpublished original research of high standard, should be submitted in accordance with the format specified in Annexed I before the deadline given above.

The time allocated for the presentation for each speaker at the symposium would be 15 minutes, which includes 3-5 minutes for discussions. Either members of the staff or their research students could present papers.  

In addition, there would be a poster session in parallel with the symposium. Organizing committee has decided to display new posters as well as previously published posters. The abstracts of new posters would be published in the symposium proceedings. Abstracts of posters (new and old) should be submitted before the deadline given above according to the format given in Annexed I

The authors are requested to submit a hard copy with a soft copy (in Microsoft Word) of the abstract and the full paper before the deadline, to following addresses
