CPDS is a two year-four-semester collaborative MA program between the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) in Aas, Eastern University, Batticola, and Ruhuna University, Matara in Sri Lanka, and Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu. This collaborative academic program involves student and faculty exchange between the partner institutions.
This multidisciplinary MA program offers a limited number of NOMA scholarships to outstanding students meeting institutional criteria. English is the medium of instructions and examination, hence the prospective candidates are expected to have a good command of written and spoken English with computer knowledge.
The University of Ruhuna is the host institution for Sri Lanka. The first two academic semesters of this programme will be conducted in Nepal while the 3rd & 4th semesters will be in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka has received an annual quota of seven full scholarships. Applications are called for the fifth batch from suitable Sri Lankan candidates. Applicants with permanent employment in Government/Semi Government sectors should apply though their respective Heads of departments. Applications from external candidates are also entertained.
