Applications are invited from the suitably qualified candidates for the Post of Visiting Lecturers / Instructors in English for Intensive English Programme – 2023 in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna.

• Qualifications:

1. A Special Degree in English

or

1. A General Degree with the English Language as a subject

or

• The Postgraduate Diploma/ Masters in Teaching of English as a Second Language or an equivalent qualification of not less than one-year duration obtained from a university or any other Higher Educational Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission

or

1. A Degree and the Trained Teachers’ Certificate in English

• Age – below 50 years

Application Procedure

Self-prepared CV should be submitted by post to the “Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Ruhuna, Wellamadama, Matara” with certified copies of degree certificate, birth certificate and National Identity Card on or before 02.02.2023.

Any applicant who has been found guilty on disciplinary inquiries is not qualified to apply.
