    Opening of the New Building Complex of Faculty Health Sciences, University of Ruhuna 
    The new building complex of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Walahanduwa, Galle was declared open by His Excellency, The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe in the presence of Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, Minister of Health and Industries, Governor Southern Province Hon. Lakshman Yapa Abeywardhena, on the invitation of  Senior Professor Sujeewa Amarasena, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna on 19th July 2024.
