    Ruhuna International Science and Technology Conference (RISTCON) is organized by the Faculty of Science, University of Ruhuna, Matara, Sri Lanka. The conference aims to bring together the interested academics, scientists, researchers and research students from Sri Lankan as well as foreign universities/institutes, and to provide them an international platform to share research findings on various themes in Science and Technology. The conference theme has been decided to be broad in order to accommodate as many Science and Technology areas as possible, and to be able to address technological advances and research findings in multidisciplinary areas more..


    Societies affected by conflict is invariably faced with the cumbersome challenge of developing strategies to recover from the loss and disappearance of the loved ones, infrastructure and livelihood destruction, moral and psychological trauma, pervasion of hatred and suspicion, and aggravation of difficulties in mechanisms for building confidence, trust, goodwill, and commitment to coexistence. The problem lies mainly in the compulsion for getting the conflicting groups to rearticulate their philosophy of existence and live together in a novel spirit of cooperation and coexistence. They are compelled to make unimaginable compromises for the sake of peace, reconciliation and development for the welfare of their dependents and future generations. more..


    ICME  under the main theme of “Entrepreneurial eco-system: Regional policy, innovation and sustainability” aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners across the globe to debate on how a region facilitates to create cultures, institutions, markets and networks with integrated policies and programs that foster entrepreneurship activities for new value creation while promoting social welfare and environmental protection.
