    Where registration of new students takes place?

    New student registration is done at the main university premises in Wellamadama, Matara.

    How can I come to the main university at Wellamadama, Matara?

    By Bus: Use a bus to Dickwella (or to Gandara, Tangalle, Kataragama, etc.) from the Matara Bus stand and you can get off in front of the university (after Meddawatta).

    By Train: Need to come to the Matara Railway station (located about 1 km from the main Bus Stand, Matara) and take a bus from the bus stand as indicated above.

    By Car: From Matara Town drive towards Dondra on Matara-Kataragama Road and the university is about 5 km away from Matara.

    How can I collect degree certificates?

    1. How to collect degree certificate

    • Degree certificate are issue on weekdays during office hours.
    • Document needed
    • Student record book
    • Certificate of handing over the cloak and garland.

    2. How to get detailed certificate.

    • Download an application form from examination branch website.
    • Duty completed clearance form
    • Prescribed fees to be credited at the people’s bank.
    • Submit the application by registered post or handing over to the examination branch.
