POST OF TEMPORARY LECTURER

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above post. Required Qualifications:

 A degree from a recognized University and specialized in Civil and Environmental Engineering
 At least one-year experience in the relevant field/research.

Priority will be given to candidates with PhD/MSc/MPhil in Transportation and Highway Engineering or ability to perform in Transportation and Highway Engineering related teaching/research.

Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Science has several vacancies for Temporary Demonstrator/Tutor positions.

Graduates holding a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) (Special) Degree or B.Sc. (Special) Degree in Computer Science, BCS (General) Degree or BSc. Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates for the post of Temporary Demonstrator in the Department of Engineering Technology.

Qualifications:
 B. Engineering Technology Degree in Electro-mechanical Instrumentation and Process Control/ Mechatronics/Robotics/Automation/Automobile/ Electronics
- or –
 B. Sc. Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering /Electronic Engineering/Mechatronics.
- or –
 B. Sc. Special degree in Physics/ Engineering Physics/ Computational Physics/Applied Physics
- or -
 B. Sc. General degree with Physics or Electronics as a subject.
- or –
 Any other discipline relevant to the Department.

The successful applicant will be responsible for directing the administration, student discipline and security of the students in Hostels, This post is tenable for a period of one year and you will be paid an allowance of Rs. 500.00 per month. Academic Warden will be appointed as follows
