Ruhuna University Center for Information Technology (RUCIT), University of Ruhuna, invites applications for the Post of Technical Officer (ICT) on Contract Basis.
Qualifications:
(i) Must have passed three (03) subjects at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination in one sitting, in science stream.
AND
(ii) Must have obtained a certificate of proficiency not below N.V.Q. Level 5, issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission or a recognized institution in Information Communication and Multimedia Technology/Information and Communication Technology/Information Technology or an equivalent field.
Additional Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in computer hardware, maintenance, and networking.
Age: Must be between 18 and 45 years.
Method of Selection: By written and/or practical test and an interview.
Application Procedure:
The appointment will be for one year with a monthly allowance of Rs. 54,425.00. Extension beyond the first year will depend on performance. Interested candidates are requested to apply by 27.11.2024.
